"Design isn't the polish. It's the infrastructure everything else depends on."

Meet Laura —

I've spent 15+ years leading design at scale — most recently at Meta, where I ran global teams through the hardest problems in tech: privacy, compliance, AI, product strategy, for a platform serving 3.35 billion people daily. Before that, I built brand and content infrastructure from the ground up at DraftKings in its earliest days, and delivered UX strategy for global brands like Samsung and IBM through agency work with George P. Johnson.

Now I bring that leadership to startups and growing businesses as a fractional UX design leader.

Growing companies rarely fail because they lack good ideas. They fail because no one owns the system connecting brand, product, and experience — so decisions get made one-off, inconsistently, by whoever's in the room. That's the gap I close.

I step in as senior design leadership: diagnosing what's broken, building the strategy, and standing up the systems and teams to execute it. I've led teams of 40+ across five time zones. I've rewritten policy language for billions of users without losing legal precision. I've built frameworks that turn scattered decisions into repeatable, scalable systems.

My work spans brand strategy, content design, product UX, and design systems — because growing businesses need one strategic partner who sees the whole picture, not a specialist who only sees their slice of it.

If your business has outgrown ad hoc design decisions, it's time for design leadership. Let's talk.

"Laura is an incredible partner, collaborator, and leader … she looks at the space as someone considering the larger picture and all of the moving parts at play." — Design Leader, Meta
